Dirty Jobs is one of Discovery Channel's newest shows and is hosted by Mike Rowe (some of you may recognize Mike as the host of Deadliest Catch). In Dirty Jobs, Mike travels the countryside getting hands-on experience in some of the dirtiest jobs on the planet. Whether he's wading through an endless sea of bat poo or nearly getting smothered in a coal mine, Mike stays relentless in his search for some of the world's dirtiest jobs.
Dirty Jobs originated from one of Mike's former experiments in San Francisco on a show entitled Somebody's Gotta Do It where he performed undesireable jobs. Since its launch Dirty Jobs has been getting more and more popular and with the comedy that Mike Rowe brings to the show, I doubt it will go anywhere but up.
